Current value

Before fieldwork - Q1 2027

No figure of ours is published yet. The value is released with its full methodology - and with the response rate, however uncomfortable.

Comparative reference

References we measure against: Global Corruption Barometer (بند التجربة لا الانطباع) - no nationally representative figure with a published methodology exists, so our first wave sets the baseline.

Context figure

89% see financial and administrative corruption as widespread
Arab Opinion Index in Syria (n=3,690) - Aug 2025 - source

A context figure, not a comparable reference: Perception, not experience; we measure experience - an actual informal payment in the past twelve months.
